Along the coast of Wenzhou, there are 215 islands of all sizes and 469 bare rocks and submerged reefs, among which the most famous one is Dongtou Island outside the Oujiang River estuary. Like pearls scattered on the China East Sea, the island gave Dongtou County the name of “Hundred Island County”.
