Xiamen Eye Center Hospital

Xiamen Eye Center of Xiamen University, established on Nov 8th 1997, is a Grade three Class A eye hospital dedicated in clinical service, teaching, scientific research and blindness prevention. It was formally affiliated to Xiamen University on Jun 7th, 2006.

Xiamen Eye Center operates a state-of-the-art 30,000 square meter facility with 300 hospital beds. Currently, it has more than 400 employees, including more than 100 well-respected senior ophthalmologists and more than a dozen Msc and Ph.D student supervisors. It also has more than ten world renowned experts from domestic and abroad as advisor. Xiamen Eye Center processes about 3 million outpatient visits, more than 1 million inpatients, and about 30 thousand operations each year. All of these major professional indexes are ranked in the first class level in eye hospitals around China.
