Zur Eiche - German Oak Restaurant & Bar was establishment opened in Nannings upper market environ and is managed by Rosewood Hotels and Restaurants in Yangshou, near Guilin, China.

Its General Manager is Rudi, a German national and its Restaurant Manager in Nanning is Dominik May, also a German national.

Its interior is fast, airy, clean and with a first floor and also outdoor sitting space.

The Chef in its kitchen is also from Germany and they prepare authentic German and Bavarian food, albeit on the rather expensive side. Given its location in an upmarket residential district of Nanning and clearly and therefore aimed at clientele who can afford to spend money. ( its not suitable for the ordinary expat who has less expendible funds for there are many other cheaper places in Nanning.

They also have a large selection of other Bavarian beers like: Erdinger and many others from around Germany but naturally none from China.
